breakfast for one

Take two coffee buns (I bought mine fresh at Kopi Mum at SM Megamall, and promptly flattened them), spread a thin layer of mangosteen jam between them. Cut up in bites. Choose some fruit, like ripened mangos and a kiwi or two. Slice, cut up into chunks and serve. Great with fresh coffee or dark tea (none of that flavored tea either.).

You keep coming up with great food combinations, Mila! You probably were inspired by the Coffee Mangosteen ice cream of years ago, but I still would not have thought of using coffee buns in sandwiches. By the way, the pear and chestnut jam idea was delicious!

Yes, you read my mind. And tossing the chunks in with the fruit salad made for a perfect breakfast.
